2. Reading and writing contemporary Christian romance fiction.
I enjoy reading contemporary Christian romance fiction. I've read a lot from the Love Inspired line and the Heartsong Presents line. They're 'clean,' no swearing, no physical intimacy, and no violence. I appreciate that!
I also write contemporary Christian romance fiction. (Really, I do!) For each of the past four years, I've participated (and 'won') National Novel Writing Month, also called NaNoWriMo. This is great fun! The aim is to write a novel of at least 50,000 words between November 1st and November 30th. It can be done! Some writers jot down notes, do character sketches, and prepare a plot line and a time line (that's me), and some writers just sit down at the computer and write 'by the seat of their pants.' To 'win,' you just need to get those 50,000 words. I really enjoy this. I hope that someday I will be a published author!

Here is the graphic I made up for last year's NaNo. The photo of the girl is from sxc.hu. I added the text.

3. My beef stew.
I don't make it very often, but it is sooo good! Nice and thick, full of good things like carrots and potatoes and shredded cabbage (this cooks down to nothing) and even some turnip (I use the frozen diced turnip, and when it's cooked, I mash most of it into the broth - yum!). That's definitely going on the menu for this winter!

4. Vintage 'Muscle car' shows!
Yeah, I like vintage muscle cars. Vroom, vroom! Here are some pics I took at one (I always take my camera!), and one of me next to a car from the year I was born. :)
Yes, I like red cars! LOL!

I enjoyed reading your list and thanks for tagging me. Will do a post when I can, hopefully soon.
Thanks for taggiing me, but whew! That was a lot of work and I still have to work on mine to get it just so! I love your 5 things! Especially your writing and the muscle cars. Although I am older than you at 58, I grew up with muscle cars. I drove a purple and white 71 Challenger and my bf now dh drove a 1968 red Plymouth Satelite. I loved the rumble of those engines!!That red Mustang is "HOT!"
I was very excited to be tagged and whew, it does take a while to create a tagged post! But it was fun! I really enjoyed your post. I posted this morning and I hope you didnt remove me. I was trying to be complimentary. I suppose I'll leave my comment at that and not comment anymore on your post, although I LOVE muscle cars having driven one or two in the long ago past, and I would love to read one of your novels., and
LOL, Carolyn - that's okay! Your comments were fine! Vroom, vroom!
I'm already planning on bringing a camera to a classic car show in late August. Fun!

Hi Susan :) I posted my five! This was fun. Blessings! Q
Mine's scheduled to post in about 12 hours, sorry it took so long.
We like poutine. too. I add chicken to it. You asked me about the border crossing picture. I found the picture in Google Images. I can't remember which crossing it was, but it was somewhere in Southern, Maine. Yes. I watch WAGM.
Hi Susan. I'm so sorry I didn't get around to doing this post until today. Then the first one I did got lost because my computer froze up and I hadn't saved it yet.
I think muscle cars are so cool too!!!!
I just posted my "5 Things I Love" on my blog. I would love for you to come visit me there. That beef stew looks warm and cozy...yum!!
